Class 2 HIAB Drivers

Location: Various locations across the UK 

Start Date: ASAP

Working Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Includes a one-hour lunch break)

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a commercial vehicle, such as a truck or tractor-trailer, for the transportation of goods and materials to designated locations.Strict adherence to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or HIAB.Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks, including checking oil levels, tire pressure, and other mechanical aspects.Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, mileage, and any incidents.Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and report any delays or issues.

Ideal Candidate:

Licensing & Qualifications:

A valid Class 2 driving license with no DR10 or IN10 (or equivalent) offence codes and no more than 6 penalty points.Familiarity with Digital Tacho cards and a valid CPC qualification are required.

Experience:

Previous experience in multi-drop, delivery, or collection roles is helpful but not mandatory.Customer service experience is a plus.Experience in the waste industry is an advantage.
