Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled HGV1 driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations. This role requires a professional attitude and excellent driving skills. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Duties

Operate lorries safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.Follow all safety protocols and procedures while on the road and at delivery sites.Assist with loading and unloading of goods as necessary, ensuring that all items are handled with care.

Experience

Valid commercial driving licence (CDL) with a clean driving record.Strong understanding of delivery driver responsibilities and logistics operations.Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
